Coming soon to Turku, Finland!
Dr. Edward Ficaro, president of INVIA Medical Imaging Solutions, will be presenting at the 14th Turku PET Symposium. The Symposium will be held May
27th – 30th with lectures, posters, and sessions specific to PET imaging. The meeting is hosted every three years by the Turku PET Centre – a Finnish
National Research Institute focused on PET imaging. This year’s conference continues the focus on the ongoing development of research applications
for PET imaging, including advances in cyclotrons, PET radiochemistry, modelling and software development, and preclinical and clinical PET imaging.
Ficaro will be presenting "Advanced quantification for nuclear cardiology using 4DM” at the Software and Modelling Session on the first day of the
symposium. This session will cover the latest developments in absolute blood flow quantification, as well as inflammatory protocols. 4DM is used to
quantify, review, and report on nuclear cardiac perfusion and function of PET and SPECT patient studies.
Dr. Ficaro is the creator of 4DM, and continues to focus on its technical development. Institutions and companies from around the world invite Dr. Ficaro
to speak on a range of molecular imaging topics. He has been widely published in peer-review publications, non-peer review publications, book chapters,
and abstracts, with over 125 such writings to his credit.
Join Dr. Ficaro at the Turku PET Symposium as he discusses advances in cardiac quantification using PET. With a personal learning focus on the advancement
of medical imaging, Dr. Ficaro anticipates a great collaboration of minds.
